Chris Hardwick's Funcomfortable Tour looks to find comfort at Hard Rock Live

ORLANDO, Fla.—Chris Hardwick will bring his Funcomfortable Tour to the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, on Aug. 7. Hardwick’s first set of the Funcomfortable Tour began on Jan. 16, in Seattle. The second leg of his tour kicked off on June 6, in Washington D.C. They will be prepping him for his next stand-up comedy special.
According to Hardwick’s press release he would like to know where the best donut store locations are in each city of the Funcomfortable Tour and he stated, “I’m very excited to get back out on the road in some damn fine theaters which will help navigate me to the shooting of my next comedy special later next year!”
Outside of the realm of stand-up comedy, Hardwick is known for his other mixed media roles. He is a podcast host, hosts live events, works in film and television, contributes to “Wired” magazine and is the creative head of Nerdist Industries. It is based out of Meltdown Comics, in Los Angeles.
Hardwick hosts two live events. One is called “The Nerdest Podcast Live!” and he travels throughout the country. “Course of the Force” is the other. It is a relay race which starts at Skywalker Ranch and ends at San Diego Comic-Con® International. The partners in the race include Lucasfilm Ltd. and Octagon. Plus, 100% of the proceeds from the runners benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
For television, Hardwick produces “All Star Celebrity Bowling” for the cable channel, AMC. Also on the cable network, he hosts the live show called “The Talking Dead”. It is a discussion-based program for the television show, “The Walking Dead”. He is also the producer for “In the Name of Science” for the cable channel, National Geographic Channel. He hosts Comedy Central’s “@Midnight”, it will be celebrating two years, in Oct. and it has been picked up for a third season. Rob Zombie’s “House of 1000 Corpses” and “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” were some of the major films he has co-starred in.
In the world of new media, Hardwick’s Nerdist channel on YouTube has over 850 thousand subscribers and over two million followers on twitter.
