Deftones announce second leg of summer tour with Refused

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Deftones announced the second leg of their tour, on March 28. The St. Augustine Amphitheatre will welcome Deftones and Code Orange on the first leg of their tour, on May 17. They will be on tour starting on May 8 at Carolina Rebellion. The festival is located at the Rock City Campgrounds inside Charlotte Motor Speedway in Kannapolis, N.C. It will conclude at Criterion Theater in Oklahoma City, on May 26.
On the second leg of Deftones’ tour, Refused will join them for the first eight dates. The trek will begin at Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, Pa., on Aug. 2. The last date of the expedition with them will be at Freedom Hill Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights, Mich., on Aug. 12. Deftones will continue to tour alone at Myth in St. Paul, Minn., on Aug. 16. The last stop will be at Mesa Amphitheatre in Meza, Ariz., on Aug. 31.
Chino Moreno is the vocalist and guitarist, Stephen Carpenter is the guitarist, Frank Delgado is the samplist/keyboardist, Abe Cunningham is the drummer and Sergio Vega is the bassist of Deftones. On April 8—their album, “Gore”, will be released. On April 12, they will perform on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.

Eric Balderose and Reba Meyer are the guitarists, Jami Morgan is the drummer and Joe Goldman is the bassist of Code Orange. Balderose, Meyers and Morgan share vocal duties. They hail from Pittsburgh and classify their music in the hardcore subgenre. They are part of the Deathwish, Inc. roster.

Sareth Ney is the entertainment journalist for A Quarter and Dream Pictures. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Center for New Media from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He is a former apprentice to master of horror, Clive Barker. He is a Wu-Tang Clan inspired superhero, Wu-Man Chu.
