Hoboken Comedy Festival accepting entries

HOBOKEN, N.J. – Hoboken Comedy Festival is accepting submissions and the deadline is Sept. 1. It takes place from Sept. 26 through Oct. 1. There are 10 shows and spans over seven days. New comedians have the opportunity to perform alongside headliners and in front of the comedy industry. Comics have the opportunity to perform in N.J. and N.Y.
For consideration to take part at Hoboken Comedy Festival, a video of a live performance must be submitted and contain a minimum of six minutes. Everyone who submits footage will not be chosen. Those who submit content must send in the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) and not the embed code. There is a non-refundable fee of $30. Those chosen will be notified on or before Sept. 15.

Since 2013, there is a competition which takes place at Hoboken Comedy Festival. Winners consist of: Pete Bladel (2013), Kareem Green (2014), Gibran Saleem and James Myers (2015) and Lawrence DeLoach (2016).
Sponsors of Hoboken Comedy Festival are: Liberty Humane Society, Hmag, Clifton Savings Bank Hoboken, Bud Light and Buffalo Trae Bourbon. For every person who attends the festival, $1 is donated to Liberty Humane Society. Also, there are donation buckets placed at the shows.
