ORLANDO, Fla. – Kevin Hart’s “The Kevin Hart Irresponsible Tour” will include the CFE Arena, on Dec. 31.
Hart’s stand-up comedy journey began while he was selling shoes. He performed on amateur night at a Philadelphia comedy club. Later, he quit being a shoe salesman and focused on comedy.
After Hart performed at Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montréal, Québec, Canada for the first time—he landed roles in the following films: “Along Came Polly”, “Paper Soldiers” and “Scary Movie 3”.
In 2009—Hart’s Comedy Central special, “I’m A Grown Little Man”, was the highest rated special for the cable channel. One year later—his DVD, “Seriously…Funny”, achieved three milestones: fastest selling DVD, reached triple platinum status and was another highest rated comedy special for Comedy Central.
“Laugh At My Pain” was the name of Hart’s tour and film. For the tour, he was the number one comedian on Ticketmaster. In back-to-back nights in Feb. of 2011, he sold out the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles and broke Eddie Murphy’s record in the process. The movie was released in Sept. of 2011, earned over $7 million at the box office and was the most successful film released in 300 theaters. When it was released on DVD in Feb. of 2012, it went double platinum and it was only on sale for a month. More films followed including: “Death at a Funeral”, “Fool’s Gold”, “Little Fockers” and “The 40-Year-Old Virgin”.
Before embarking on the “Let Me Explain” tour in 2012, Hart hosted the MTV Video Music Awards and he was praised by the industry. He then toured 90 cities in the following continents: Asia, Europe and North America. While in London, England—Hart became the second American to sell out the O2 Arena. After returning to the U.S. and his tour ended, he appeared in the following films: “About Last Night”, “Ride Along”, “Think Like A Man” and “Five Year Engagement”.
Other film credits for Hart include: “Grudge Match”, “Top Five”, “Think Like A Man Too”, “Let Me Explain”, “The Wedding Ringer”, “Get Hard”, “Ride Along” and more.
As an executive producer in television, Hart produced “Real Husbands of Hollywood” and “The Big House”. He hosted “Comic View: One Mic Stand”. He was in: “Love, Inc.”, “Barbershop” and “Undeclared”.
Tickets to attend Hart’s “The Kevin Hart Irresponsible Tour” at the CFE Arena are $69.50, $99.50 and $250 each. They exclude fees.
