Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville offers two opportunities for Bright Future Scholarship addressees

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville and The Student Experience are joining forces to offer two unique chances for Bright Futures Scholarship recipients. They have to be 18 or older and is funded by Florida Lottery.
One receiver of the Bright Futures Scholarship program will take part at this year’s Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville Internship experience, from April 29 through April 30. They will be working alongside The Music Experience and The Student Experience. It includes “a backstage tour, hands-on experience to learn about the daily activities and variety of careers at one of the top music festivals in the U.S.”
Applications for consideration will be open from noon Eastern Time on Monday, April 24. The deadline is set for 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, April 26. It is open to all legal Fla. residents, Bright Futures Scholarship inheritors, 18+, pursing studies in music, other fine arts or event management.
Along with the application, an essay must be written and submitted. The topic has to be about “why live music and art is important to them and to society”. Also, include “how their Bright Futures Scholarship has enhanced their college experience in a positive way.” Along with the essay, the following has to be turned in: full name, address, telephone number and email address. For the second distinctive prospect, The Student Experience will host a songwriting competition for those who obtained a 2017 Bright Future Scholarship. The winner will receive music equipment and more. More details will be announced via The Music Experience website and at Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville.
