Shriekfest offering discounted festival passes for a limited time

LOS ANGELES - Shriekfest Film Festival is currently offering half price on festival passes, until June 20. It is set to take place from Oct. 5 through Oct. 8. Films being screened are in the following categories: fantasy, horror, science fiction, short films and fantasy. All screenings will take place at the Chaplin or Pickford/Fairbanks Theatres located inside Raleigh Studios. Oct. 21 will be the date for additional screenings of all official selections in Orlando, Fla. A venue is still to be determined.
“We are already planning some exciting things for our Sexy and 17th year!”, Denise Gossett, festival founder and director of Shriekfest states. “Last year’s festival was a great success. We had our biggest audience yet, with a 20% increase over the previous year and more than 35 filmmakers in attendance.”
Opening party information for Shriekfest can be found on their website and the full schedule for each film block will be revealed in Sept. Individual tickets for each film program are $10 each and can be purchased online by clicking here. To receive the half off discount for the festival passes, payments must be submitted via paypal.com and to the email address shriekfest@aol.com. To avoid fees, funds transferred must be through the purchaser’s bank account. Regular price for festival passes are $120 and with the discount, they are $60.
Banner ads for Shriekfest are available. They are $300 each and include a 200 word blurb. The pixel banners are 468x60 and include a three month listing. Another option available is for the web banner ad and it is $100 for two months. 60 seconds and under screenings at the festival are $100 each.
