South By Southwest announces badge levels, new keynote speakers and music artists

AUSTIN, Texas – New badge levels, speakers and early music festival confirmations were announced for South By Southwest (SXSW), on Sept. 6.
SXSW will be taking place from March 10 through March 19. The badges for the festival include: film, interactive, music and platinum. Each badge level allows the attendees to network, learn and discover innovative ways to enjoy this year’s festival. Groups will be split into to two, primary and secondary, until capacity is reached.
Those who obtain the platinum badge will gain access to the film, interactive and music portion of SXSW. As well as: award shows, comedy, film screenings, music showcases, networking events and special programming. Film give s access to first entry to the film portion and secondary entry to interactive and music. Interactive provides primary entry to the interactives events and secondary admission to film and music. Music badges will allow those first to gain entry into the music portion and second to film and interactive. All badges gives access to exclusive services, special hotel rates and more. Featured Sessions at SXSW will feature Product Mavericks: Top Tips From Women Who Build consisting of: Fidji Simo, Tali Rapaport, Stephanie Hannon and Merci Grace. Featured speakers are: Cheryl Boone Isaacs, Kate Crawford, William Clay Ford, Jr., Doug Newcomb, Parag Khanna, Kimbal Musk, Peggy Orenstein, Randall Poster, Vivek Randivé and Rachael Ray.
