Welcome To Rockville is going to rock out at Metropolitan Park

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—The fifth annual Welcome To Rockville concert will take place at Metropolitan Park, on April 25 and 26. It will feature over 40 rock acts.

Beartooth, Exodus, Fozzy, Halestorm, Hollywood Undead, KoЯn, Like A Storm, Live, Marilyn Manson, Ministry, Nonpoint, Of Mice & Men, Periphery, Queensrÿche,  Red Sun Rising, Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts, Slayer, Stars In Stereo, Suicidal Tendencies, Testament, The Devil Wears Prada, Upon A Burning Body and World Gone are scheduled to perform on April 25.

’68, All That Remains, Breaking Benjamin, Butcher Babies, From Ashes To New, Godsmack, 
Hatebreed, In Flames, In This Moment, Islander, Like A Storm, Motionless In White, Papa Roach, Slash featuring Miles Kennedy and The Conspirators, Slipknot, Sons Of Texas, Starset, The Pretty Reckless, Tremonti, Vamps, We Are Harlot, Young Guns and more are scheduled to perform on April 26. The lineup is also subject to change.

Godsmack will be promoting their album, “1000hp”. Slipknot will be supporting their recent release, “.5:  The Gray Chapter”. KoЯn will be performing their self-titled album in its entirety and celebrating the 20th anniversary.

Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville Tequila World is an addition to Welcome To Rockville. A variety of alcoholic beverages including 1800, Corazon, DeLeón, Don Julio, El Jimador, 
Jose Cuervo, Luna Nueva, Lunazul, Margaritaville, Monte Alban, Peligroso, Pura Vida and Siete Leguas will be available. Heavy metal mariachi band, Metalachi, will provide live entertainment. The admission is free to those 21 and up.

Jägermeister will also have autograph signings and a mobile stage.The Crazy Dave’s Music Experience powered by Musicians Institute will have an exhibit and more.

about the author

Sareth Ney is a concert journalist for the Wu-Man Chu Chronicles. It is a division of A Quarter and Dream Pictures. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Center for New Media from Colorado State University-Pueblo. After graduating—he continued his four year apprenticeship with master of horror, Clive Barker. In California, he met members of the Wu-Tang Clan. He became the journalist/superhero, Wu-Man Chu. He inducts everyone into his hall of fame, “Supreme Clientele”. His goal is to write 150 articles in select time zones. He is the founder and co-host of No Cover Podcast.
