The Other Bar, Real Laughs and Fla. comedians present Comedy Benefit Show For Puerto Rico

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Other Bar and Real Laughs joined forces to present Comedy Benefit Show for Puerto Rico, on Oct. 9. It took place at The Other Bar and hosted by Miguel Colón, Jr. The lineup consisted of the following comedians: Ken Miller, Vinny Barber, Jeff Jones, Gina G., Charlie Bowie, Kermit L. Gonzalez, Mike Charette, Akeem Woods, Heather Shaw, Jason “Yaya” Martinez, Marcus Crespo, Justin Lawson, Jersey, JB Ball, Alex U., Tommy O’Neill, Rauce Padgett, Vince Taylor, Kirk Bonacci, Angelo Cianfrocco, Sergio Santana and many more.
Miller stepped on a stage surrounded by donations by attendees of the Comedy Benefit Show for Puerto Rico. He went onto explain the rules of how he operated his comedy showcases. He continued to say Real Laughs helped put together events such as toy drives, benefit shows for comedians and gave a shout out to James Yon. Miller invited Colón, Jr. to begin hosting duties.
Colón, Jr. spoke of how he was born in the wrong era, after making it through Hurricane Irma. He invited Barber up to the stage and he told a story full of music references. Another spoke of his experience in Kissimmee, Fla. Jones mentioned how he was prepared with a bunch of water and Yankee Candles, with his experiences with hurricanes.
Gina G. imitated President Donald Trump and started her set with throwing paper towels in the crowd. Bowie impersonated Ray Romano. Gonzalez touched based on being in his 30s and balding. Charette talked of how men posed with fish they caught.
Woods’ material included stories of being an Uber driver. Shaw reached for a can of Spam and said she was taking it home. Martinez reminisced about his experience in Thailand. Crespo had a bit on candy at adult bookstores. Lawson shared his experiences in Atlanta. Jersey made statements of not using Dove soap. Ball’s airplane trip was part of his routine. Alex U., recent winner of Florida’s Funniest Comedian, followed.
O’Neill visited from Los Angeles and spoke of Ala. Padgett compared his complexion to a cheesecake. A typo in a booking inquiry in Homosassa, Fla. was part of Taylor’s. Popular terms in adult websites were included in Bonacci’s performance. Cianfrocco topics were current events which consisted of public figures. Santana’s upbringing in Philadelphia and his family were part of his five minutes. Afterwards, comedians picked up donations and took them to cars waiting for the items.
