Make America Rage Again tour to include The St. Augustine Amphitheatre

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Prophets of Rage, AWOLNATION and Wakrat’s second leg of the Make America Rage Tour will lead them to The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, on Sept. 30. The expedition is set to begin on Sept. 25 at the Gexa Enery Pavilion in Dallas. It concludes on Oct. 15 at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, Calif.
Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello (guitar), Tim Commerford (bass and backup vocals) and Brad Wilk (drums and percussion); Public Enemy’s Chuck D and DJ Lord; and Cypress Hill’s B-Real are the super group known as Prophets of Rage. Their extended play (EP), “The Party’s Over”, consists of original songs: “The Party’s Over” and “No Sleep Til Cleveland”. Covers of Rage Against The Machine’s “Killing in the Name” and Public Enemy’s “Prophets of Rage” and Shut Em Down and are on the record too.
Morello described the collective as an “elite task force of revolutionary musicians determined to confront this mountain of election year bulls**t”. Prophets of Rage stated “dangerous times demand dangerous songs”.
Aaron Bruno (vocals, guitar), Kenny Carkeet (keyboards, backing vocals, rhythm guitar), Isaac Carpenter (drums, percussion, backing vocals), Marc Walloch (bass, backing vocals) and Zach Irons (lead guitar, backing vocals) are part of AWOLNATION. They are an alternative rock, multi-platinum recording band, part of the Red Bull Records roster and their roots are from Los Angeles. Their latest album, “Run”, is available for purchase. It features the number one hit single, “Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)”. It features the top five charted tracks, “I Am” and “Woman Woman”.
“The influence of the individual artists in Prophets of Rage in music, politics and society on us personally and so many others has been massive,” AWOLNATION’s Bruno stated.
Tim “Timmy C” Commerford is the vocalist and bassist, Mathias Wakrat is the drummer and percussionist and Laurent Grangeon is the guitarist and vocalist of Wakrat. They are a punk and alternative band from Los Angeles. They are part of the A Nail and 2 Snails Music, LLC roster. Three of their songs can be downloaded individually on iTunes and they are: “Knucklehead”, “Generation F****d” and “Sober Addiction”.
