Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festival celebrates five years in Pueblo, Colo.

PUEBLO, Colo. – Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festival celebrated five years, from Aug. 9 through Aug. 12. It took place at Rainbow Bar, Smitty’s Green Light Tavern and The Hanging Tree Café.
On Aug. 9, the comedy portion of Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festival took place at Justin Taibi’s Rainbow Bar. Zander Alexander, Patrick Butkovich, John Bueno, Sareth Ney and Wu-Man Chu performed stand-up comedy sets. Alexander, Butkovich, Bueno and Chu performed five to 10 minute sets. Ney had a close to 30 minute set. Michael Sword was roasted and was live streamed on YouTube by David Mann of D Mann Productions. Sword nominated Bueno to be roasted, for 2019’s event.

Burns Like Hell performed on Greg Smith’s Smitty’s Green Light Tavern for the first time, on Aug. 10. The Floor Beneath and Death By Cemetery followed. Mann live streamed The Floor Beneath and is available on YouTube.

Alternating sets with Burns Like Hell, The Floor Beneath and Death By Cemetery were four bands at Rainbow Bar. They were Scepter, Sonic Vomit, Bunny Gunz and I Die Knowing. It was Bunny Gunz’s first time at the fest. All of the bands performed 30 minutes, for the exception of I Die Knowing. They had a slightly longer one, as they headlined the second day of Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festival.

At Your Weakest kicked off the third day of Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festival at Smitty’s Green Light Tavern, on Aug. 12. Calling The Fall, Thoz 1 Guyz and Myth Of Creation shared the same stage. It was At Your Weakest’s first time on the Sareth-Fest lineup.

Hell’s Circus, Elation, Severed Reputation and Sins of Man alternated with the bands performing at Smitty’s Green Light Tavern. They shared the bill at the Rainbow Bar, on Aug. 12. It was Elation’s first time performing live and were live streamed on YouTube, courtesy of D Mann Productions.

Charles Sole’s The Hanging Tree Café hosted the final day of Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festival, on Aug. 13. There was an indoor and outdoor stage. Alexander performed music. Despicable Dialects, Into Awakening, It’s A Trade Thing, Privus Lex, Scott Limardo, The Dead End and The Ragetones interchanged between stages with their music. The Ragetones was live streamed on YouTube by D Mann Productions.

Admission to attend Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festival was free, suggested donation of $5, canned goods, non-perishable food items, school supplies or coats.
