PUEBLO, Colo. -- Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festival in Pueblo occurred for the 11th year at Blo Back Gallery, from July 18 through July 20.
Liquid Death’s Erin Bates provided woven tote bags, trucker hats, stickers and Death Dust. Kuan’s Kitchen helped with food for some of the artists on the bill, K Nails and Spa assisted with merchandise giveaways, The New Star Bar provided drinks to some of the musicians on the lineup and Pueblo Pro Choice was the sole vendor.
On July 18, the open mic had a variety of artists showcase their talents
Scott “Scoot” Limardo began the music portion, on July 19. 13Plagues made their debut on stage, as well as Sareth-Fest. Matt Herrera, one of the guitarists, was surprised how many people attended because he said it was supposed to be a “soft opening”. For some of 13Plagues, it had been over a decade since they played live. It’s A Trade Thing was next with help from Limardo. As In Heaven, As In Hell made their Sareth-Fest debut.
Pueblo’s Independent Multimedia Podcast followed and co-owner of Blo Back Gallery, Zoe Madeen, was the guest. Limardo assisted with filming. Phở-Ney Farm Film Firestorm featuring “Where Are You, Wu-Man Chu?” was next. The executive producer, Cindy Montanez, was in attendance. Lou So and Charley McMullen roasted the film. So, McMullen, David Gamble, Dylan Stickels and Thomas Gerson performed stand-up. Gerson was the headliner.

The Assault Shakers preceded and George Batuello of Pivotal Backfire joined on stage, as STENCHCOMB made a surprise performance. Death By Cemetery were next and Panpsychism headlined. Death By Cemetery helped Panpsychism with additional equipment. Rico and Jeff Madeen, ran sound for the main stage. Velocriffer, Beneath The Floorboards, and Death By Cemetery operated their own.
Loose Leaf – A Storytelling Show was next. Jared Chandler and Wu-Man Chu shared one story. Chandler, Sareth Ney and Willie Crow took part of High & Dry Comedy Show with improvised stand-up comedy. Ney was next with a five minute set. He asked the crowd if they wanted clean or dirty material.
