NOFX's The Hepatitis Bathtub Tour to occupy Mavericks

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – NOFX’s The Hepatitis Bathtub Tour will make a stop at Mavericks, on April 23. The expedition will begin with a book signing at Kepler’s in Menlo Park, Calif. on April 12. It will conclude with a book signing at Politics & Prose @ Busboys and Poets in Washington, on April 30. For Jacksonville’s date, they will be sharing the stage with Direct Hit! and Mean Jeans.
Fat Mike is the vocalist and bassist, El Hefe is the guitarist and vocalist, Eric Melvin is the guitarist and provides the “Mel Yell” and Erik Sandin is the drummer of NOFX. They are a punk rock group with roots from San Francisco, partially based out of Los Angeles and part of the Fat Wreck Chords/Epitaph roster. While touring—they will be making stops at bookstores signing their book, “The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories”.

Nick Woods and Devon Kay are the guitarists and vocalists, Danny Walkowiak is the drummer and Steve Maury is the bassist of Direct Hit! They hail from Milwaukee. They are part of the Death To False Hope, Kind of Like, Madison Underground, Good Land, I Hate Punk Rock Bright & Barrow, Los Cat, Let’s Pretend and Red Scare rosters. Their full length records are: “Domesplitter” (2011), “Brainless God” (2013) and “More of the Same” (2015).

Billy Jeans is the guitarist and vocalist, Jeans Wilder is the drummer and vocalist and Junior Jeans is the bassist of Mean Jeans. They classify themselves in the subgenres of cool punk and dumb punk. They are from Portland, Ore. and are part of the Fat Wreck Chords roster. Their upcoming long play (LP), “Tight New Dimension”, will be released on April 22. “Nite Vision” is their lead single and was released on March 18.

Sareth Ney is the entertainment journalist for A Quarter and Dream Pictures. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Center for New Media from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He is a former apprentice to master of horror, Clive Barker. He is a Wu-Tang Clan inspired superhero, Wu-Man Chu.
