MINNEAPOLIS – 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival will take place at five venues, from Oct. 13 through Oct. 15. The venues consist of: Uptown VFW, Turf Club, Sisyphus Brewing, Comedy Corner Underground and Royal Comedy Theatre. Celebrating five years, it showcases local and national comedians.
Opening night of 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival takes place at Sisyphus Brewing, on Oct. 13., begins at 8 p.m., Fancy Ray McCloney hosts and Derek Sheen will headline.
“PSSY CTRL” will take place at Uptown VFW, on Oct. 14 and at 8 p.m. Three comediennes will co-headline the festivities, feature three hosts and an array of sketches.
Royal Comedy Theatre welcomes “Royal Comedy Showcase”, on Oct. 14. It will begin at 9 p.m. and conclude at 10:30 p.m. It features Jamie Blanchard, Tiffany Norton, Isaac Witty and two special guests. The show is open to those 21 and over, government issues identification cards will be checked and the lineup is subject to change.
Drew Janda will host “Extremely LOL and Incredibly Jokes” at the Comedy Corner Underground. The event takes place on Oct. 14., begins at 10 p.m. and ends at 11:30 p.m. Comedians will have seven minutes to perform each, for their comedy routine. A mystery show will take place, shortly after. More details will be revealed soon.
Oct. 15’s events begins with The Late Late Breakfast at Turf Club, at 2 p.m. Showcase Showcase will follow, Sisyphus Brewing will host the event and starts at 8 p.m. Andy Erikson (“Last Comic Standing”) is going to headline the event. Blanchard, Norton, Witty and two special guests returns to Royal Comedy Theatre for the “Royal Comedy Showcase” and is set to begin at 8:30 p.m. The lineup is subject to change. “Hotdish” is going to start at 8 p.m. and Emily Galati (“Last Comic Standing” and “Conan”) will headline it. “The Best of the Fest” takes place at Sisyphus Brewing at 10 p.m. “The Dirty Show” is going to wrap up the festival at 10 p.m. and takes place at Comedy Corner Underground.

Dante Powell, Charlie Vergos, Liz Ziner, Patrick Susmilch, Phoebe Bottoms, Johan Miranda, Edward Salazar, Jordan Casner, Jeff Pfoser, Jakey Emmret, David Harris, J Tyler Menz, Kate McCarthy, Abby Marose, Courtney Baka, Chloe Radcliffe and more will be announced.
