CHICAGO – The 4th Annual 26th Annual Comedy Festival takes place from May 31 through June 4. It is presented by The Onion, A.V. Club and Clickhole.
Patton Oswalt, The Modern School of Film with Christopher Guest, “Idiocacy” on 35mm with Mike Judge, “Nathan Fo You” sneak peek and question and answer (Q&A) with Nathan Fielder, Eugene Mirman and Jon Glaser, Guys We F@#ked: The Experience, Bitch Sesh Live, Crabapples with Bobcat Goldthwait and Caitlin Gill, Aparna Nancherla, Jena Friedman, Clickhole Live!, 7 Minutes in Purgatory with Ian Abramson and Rise Up: Comedy for a Change Conference will take place at The 4th Annual 26th Annual Comedy Festival. More will be announced.
Headliners of the 4th Annual 26th Annual Comedy Festival are: The Modern School of Film with Guest. It will take place at Music Box Theatre on May 31 at 7 p.m. and Oswalt’s Netflix special tapings. The tapings are sold out and will happen at Athenaeum Theatre on June 2 at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Also taking place on May 31 with The Modern School of Film with Guest will be Nancherla’s performance at The Hideout. Her two shows are 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
On June 1, “Idiocracy” on 35mm with Judge will screen at the Music Box Theatre at7 p.m. At 9:30 p.m. at Thalia Hall, Mirman and Glaser will perform. Also at 9:30 p.m., “The Adventures of Pete & Pete” reunion is set to take place at Lincoln Hall.
Two other events are taking place on June 2, along with Oswalt’s Netflix special filming. They are two sold performances of Bitch Sesh Live: A Real Housewives Breakdown with Casey Wilson and Danielle Schneider. Friedman is set to take the stage at The Hideout at 10:30 p.m.
“Nathan For You” sneak peak and Q&A with Fielder will happen on June 3. Athenaeum hosts and begins at 7 p.m. Thalia Hall welcomes Guys We F@#ked: The Experience and The Hideout presents Crabapples with Goldthwait and Gill. Two showcases of each transpires and start at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. 7 Minutes in Purgatory with Abramson and Guests occurs at Lincoln Hall on 8 p.m. Clickhole Live! follows at 10:30 p.m.
