DESTIN, Fla.—36 Crazyfists will be knocking out a concert at Club LA, on April 24. They will be joined by Nonpoint, during the stop.
Brock Lindow is the vocalist, Steve Holt is the guitarist, Mick Whitney is the bassist and Kyle Baltus is the drummer of 36 Crazyfists.
“Time And Trauma” is the latest album by 36 Crazyfists. They are currently on tour promoting the album, which was released on Spinefarm Records. The theme was influenced by their 20-year career. It was deemed as the most focused and pure, of all their albums.. The tour begins April 1 and continues through May 30. As the tour approaches—they are looking forward to traveling, performing and connecting with as many attendees as possible.
“This album represents exactly who are, what we sound like, and what we’ve worked so hard to create over all of these years,” Lindow cited about “Time And Trauma”. “We’ve never wanted to be run-of-the-mill, or to run with the pack. It’s important for us to have our own identity. This album certainly gets back to that. The album isn’t dwelling on death. It’s about trying to understand, but also, about elevating over the sad times and searching for a light in all of it. Time does heal. We have to keep going. The alternative is to check out, which I will not do.”
“Overall the idea was to write a rock record with no preconceived notions; just good riffs and good songs,” Holt responded when he was asked about the album. “I wanted rock-oriented songs that would let Brock’s vocal melodies take the lead.”
“Time And Trauma” reunites Whitney and 36 Crazyfists and welcomes drummer, Baltus.
“Kyle is an amazing young drummer. Mick and I had remained best buddies after he left the band. I frequently played him stuff I was writing and badgered him to rejoin the band,” Holt replied when asked about the lineup. “Finally the time was right for him and he said, “I’m in.”"
Nonpoint, Five Finger Death Punch, Toothgrinder and/or Sleepwave will be joining 36 Crazyfists.
“We want to swing for the fences all over again,” Lindow stated about the tour. “Who knows how many chances we’ll have to go all out like this? Oddly enough, even after 20 years of being a band, we’re still eager to prove ourselves. It’s a great thing, to always have a challenge to beat.
