3rd Annual Flagler Film Festival takes place at Hilton Garden Inn

PALM COAST, Fla. – The 3rd Annual Flagler Film Festival took place at Hilton Garden Inn Palm Coast Town Center, on Jan. 16 through Jan. 18. 15 blocks of various categories were featured including: Tommy Tant benefit, comedy, horror/thriller, anything goes (light and dark), eight documentary blocks and two drama blocks. After each block, those involved in the filmmaking process were invited to participate in a question and answer (Q & A) session.
Films from the following states were screened at the 3rd Annual Film Festival. They included: Calif., Fla., Mass., Pa., Ill., N.Y., La., Ga., R.I., Nev. and N.J. Many countries participated in the festival, as well. They were from: Spain, Australia, Canada, Germany, England, Poland and Uganda.
During the screening of “Jangled”, a technical difficulty occurred. The laptop with the films of the 3rd Annual Flagler Film Festival generated too much heat and it caused it to stop displaying the film. After placing a miniature oscillating fan underneath, the festival continued. With a few display mishaps following, the festival continued on without another glitch.
After the screening of the 3rd Annual Flagler Film Festival, champagne and cake were served to all those remaining in attendance. The nominees for each category were announced and the awards were handed out to the following recipients:

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sareth Ney is the entertainment journalist for A Quarter and Dream Pictures. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Center for New Media from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He is a former apprentice to master of horror, Clive Barker.
