AFI, Nothing and Souvenirs to perform at The Plaza

ORLANDO, Fla. – AFI, Nothing and Souvenirs will be performing at The Plaza, on Feb. 10. The three bands will be touring together starting on Feb. 4 at Paradise Rock Club in Boston. They will end their trek together with back-to-back dates on Feb. 20 and Feb. 21 at the Observatory North Park in San Diego. It will be a part of AFI’s nationwide tour starting on Jan. 20 at the Troubadour in Los Angeles.
Davey Havok is the vocalist, Jade Puget is the guitarist, Hunter Burgan is the bassist and Adam Carson is the drummer of AFI. They will be on tour supporting their record, “The Blood Album”. It is due out on Jan. 20. It is their first album on Concord Records and 10th full-length studio release.
“The Blood Album” was produced by Puget and co-produced by Matt Hyde (Deftones). Three tracks were made accessible: “Aurelia”, “Snow Cats” and “White Offerings”. AFI premiered their music video for “White Offerings” via Rolling Stone.
Dominic Palermo is the vocalist, Brandon Setta is the guitarist, Kyle Kimball is the drummer and Nick Bassett is the bassist of Nothing. They are an alternative rock band from Philadelphia and are part of the Relapse Records roster.
“Tired of Tomorrow” was Nothing’s latest offering they made available. It featured 12 tracks: “Fever Queen”, “The Dead Are Dumb”, “ACD (Abcessive Compulsive Disorder”, “Nineteen Ninety Heaven”, “Curse of the Sun”, “Eaten by Worms”, “Everyone Is Happy”, “Our Plague”, “Tired of Tomorrow”, “The Heavenly Blue Flue” and “Tic Tac Toe”.
Tim Riley (vocals and guitar), Nolan Nunes (bass), Vincent Amador (guitar and vocals) and Travis Turpin (drums) are the members of Souvenirs. They are a rock band from Carpinteria, Calif. and part of the Other People Records roster. Their discography includes: “Sadder Days”, “Tired of Defending You”, “You, Fear and Me”, “Souvenirs – Audiotree Live” and “Demos: 2011-2014”.
“Demos: 2011-2014” features 18 songs including: “A Mile High”, “Gradient”, “Shake”, “Drag Me Under”, “Linden Ave.”, “Worth It”, “Swan”, a cover of Death Cab for Cutie’s “Company Calls Epilogue”, “Squeeze” and more.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m. It is an all ages concert and tickets range from $25 to $38 each. Ticket prices exclude the service fee. With every voucher sold—a digital download of AFI’s upcoming album, “The Blood Album”, will be made obtainable when it is downloadable on Jan. 20.
