Alabama Shakes and Dylan LeBlanc to shake things up at The St. Augustine Amphitheatre

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Alabama Shakes and Dylan LeBlanc will bring their joint expedition to an end at The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, on April 30. Their tour will begin on April 21 at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, Tenn.
Brittany Howard is the lead vocalist and guitarist, Heath Fogg is the guitarist, Zac Cockrell is the bassist and Steve Johnson is the drummer, Ben Tanner and Paul Horton are the touring keyboardists, Lloyd Buchanan, Shanay Johnson and Karita Law are the backup vocalists of Alabama Shakes. They hail from Athens, Ala. They are part of the ATO Records and Rough Trade Records rosters.
After forming in 2009—Alabama Shakes released their first album, “Boys & Girls”, in 2012. It received three Grammy nominations and was certified gold. They have performed on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” and festivals including, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and Glastonbury. “Sound &Color” was their most recent record and it was released in April. The 12 song album was recorded at Sound Emporium in Nashville, Tenn. and produced by Blake Mills (Norah Jones, Kid Rock).

Dylan LeBlanc is the electric guitarist, acoustic guitarist and vocalist, Ben Tanner plays the piano, B3, mellotron and vibraphone, Mus Gillum is the bassist, Jon Davis and Jeremy Gibson are the drummers and percussionists, Melvin Duffy, Wayne Bridge and Pete Finney play the pedal steel, Chelsea Norman plays the organ and guitar and Kimi Samson is the violinist of Dylan LeBlanc. Gillum and Elliott are the backup vocalists. They are part of the Single Lock and Thirty Tigers rosters. LeBlanc’s roots are from Shreveport, La.
LeBlanc released two albums, “Paupers Field” and “Cautionary Tale”. After walking from a major record deal—he wrote a new life for himself in Muscle Shoals, Ala. Both of his albums received critical acclaim. His latest grabbed the attention of Lucinda Williams and Bruce Springsteen. John Paul White and Alabama Shakes’ Tanner produced the album.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sareth Ney is the entertainment journalist for A Quarter and Dream Pictures. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Center for New Media from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He is a former apprentice to master of horror, Clive Barker.
