LAS VEGAS – Amazing Las Vegas Comic Convention will be taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, from June 23 through June 25. It will be headlined by Marvel creator, Stan Lee.
Along with Lee, Amazing Las Vegas Comic Convention will feature: 100 exhibitors, artist alley featuring over 200 artist including autograph sessions and creators of the “Deadpool” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle” film franchises.
“We are thrilled to bring our awesome guest lineup back to Vegas for another unforgettable event,” stated Jimmy Jay (co-owner of Jay Company Comics and promoter of Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con). “There is something for everyone at Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con, from after-hours parties to family-friendly activities on Sunday’s Kids’ Day. Stan Lee is the gold standard of comic con guest. His iconic face and personality are just well-known as his creations, recognizable by millions of fans around the globe.”
Rob Liefeld will be attending. He is the creator Deadpool, Cable, Domino, X-Force and a slew of others for Marvel. He is the founder of Image Comics and Extreme Studios. They are home to his other creations: Youngblood, Brigade, Bloodstrike and many more. Extreme Studios is currently on their 25th anniversary tour. Spawn maker, Todd McFarlane, will be in attendance. McFarlane is responsible for McFarlane Toys and Todd McFarlane Entertainment, as well. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles originator, Kevin Eastman, will be there too. Actors of the 1966 “Batman” series, Adam West and Burt Ward, will be present. It will be their final appearance at the Amazing Las Vegas Comic Convention. Ray Park, Darth Maul of “Star Wars: Episode I”, will be there. More guests will be announced, as the dates draw closer.
Activities taking place at the Amazing Las Vegas Comic Convention are: Force Friday, Marvel Spotlight Panel (afternoon of June 24), Amateur E-Sports Competition (all weekend), DIY Cosplay Workshops (all weekend), Cosplay Costume Contest (June 24 at 7 p.m.) and Kids’ Day (June 25).
Friday and Sunday passes to attend Las Vegas Comic Convention are $25 each, Saturday passes are $35 and weekend passes are $60. Very important person (VIP) tickets are available too and they range from $125 to $175. All vouchers are available online and at the door, with an option to upgrade.
