Atmosphere to elevate the state of hip-hop at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

MORRISON, Colo. – Atmosphere will be rocking the foundations of Red Rocks Amphitheatre, on Sept. 2. They will be touring the world from summer into fall. They will start with Hard Rock Hotel Casino - Pool in Las Vegas, on June 13. The latest stops will take place on back-to-back dates at Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn., on Oct. 07 and Oct. 08.
MC Sean “Slug” Daley is the vocalist and lyricist, Anthony “Ant” Davis provides the beats and is the producer and Plain Ole Bill is the tour disc jockey (DJ) of Atmosphere. They are hip-hop artists hailing from Minneapolis and they are part of the Rhymesayers Entertainment roster.
In 1989, Atmosphere was formed and they first recorded inside of a basement in Minneapolis. Since releasing their first project over 17 years ago, they have distributed albums which reached Top 20 status. They released 18 projects, collectively. “Southsiders” was their eighth studio album and it paid homage to their part of the city. It was available on May 6, 2014 and took 10 months to complete. It celebrated the group’s endurance. Internally, it reflected profoundly and it disputed their workmanship.
“Bitter” was the first single from “Southsiders”. The other 14 songs were: “Camera Thief [Clean]”, “Arthur’s Song”, “The World Might Live Through The Night”, “Star Shaped Heart”, “I Love You Like A Brother”, “Southsiders”, “Miss Interpret”, “Fortunate”, “Kanye West”, “We Ain’t Gonna Die Today”, “My Lady Got Two Men”, “Flicker”, “January On Lake Street” and “Let Me Know That You Know What You Want…”.
“Windows” was Atmosphere’s most recent single and it was released on May 11, 2016. It was produced by Ant, the lyrics were by Slug, featured Prof on the chorus, the live instruments were performed by G Koop, it was recorded and mixed by Dillon Parker at Stophouse Studio and the artwork was created by Dave Quiggle. It could be found digitally on many platforms including iTunes, Google Play and many more.
