Atmosphere's Freshwater Fly Fishwater Tour to include The Beacham

ORLANDO, Fla. – Atmosphere’s Freshwater Fly Fisherman Tour will be making a trek stop at The Beacham, on Oct. 26. Brother Ali, deM atlas, Plain Ole Bill and DJ Last Word will be accompanying them. The 2017 winter leg of the expedition begins at The District in Sioux Falls, S.D., on Jan. 13. It will conclude at The Blue Note in Columbia, Mo., on Feb. 9.
MC Sean “Slug” Daley is the vocalist and lyricist, Anthony “Ant” Davis provides the beats and is the producer and Plain Ole Bill is the tour disc jockey (DJ) of Atmosphere. They are hip-hop artists hailing from Minneapolis and they are part of the Rhymesayers Entertainment roster.
“Fishing Blues” was Atmosphere’s most recent album. There were 13 tracks on it and five of them had guest appearances.
Brother Ali is a hip-hop artist from Minneapolis and he is part of the Rhymesayers Entertainment roster. Outside of releasing six record albums, he is a speaker and an activist. ‘Rites of Passage” is his latest.
Hip-hop artists, Chuck D and Rakim, were Brother Ali’s mentors. He has performed on late night talk show programs. He was also a keynote speaker at the Noble Peace Prize Forum.
deM atlaS signed a record deal with Rhymesayers Entertainment, in 2013. Since then, he has been constantly on tour. In 2014, he released his unofficial debut project known as “DWNR”. Every album cover was drawn by him. It received critical acclaim and he sold out all 1,000 copies, in 48 hours. His latest, “mF deM”, was released on July 15, 2016. The artwork was by Galen Todd.
Last Word is a Minneapolis native. In his city—he produces and provides live mixes for local hip-hop artists including: Dialogue Elevators, Ernie Rhoades and others.
For over 15 years, Last Word has been a disc jockey. He received his first start at a sandwich shop/music venue known as Bon Appetit. His Soundcloud profile can be accessed by clicking this hyperlink. He has one album, “Showtime EP”.
Plain Ole Bill is one of the co-founders of Get Cryphy, a series of popular events in Minneapolis’ featuring the hip-hop genre.
In 2009, Plain Ole Bill reached a larger fan base when he toured with P.O.S. Recently, he was the opening act for Atmosphere in Denver. He also released the track, “Let ‘Em Through”, featuring Tomorrow Genius and Brother Ali. It was his first production released.
