Best of Film Festival to take place at Wyndham Orlando Resort on I-Drive

ORLANDO, Fla. – Best of Film Festival will be taking place at the Wyndham Orlando Resort on I-Drive, on May 13. It will feature five film festivals including: Lose Your Shorts Film Festival, Student Art Fest (STARTFEST), FantaSci Film Festival, End of Days Film Festival and the 48 Hour Film Project. Activities taking place are the dinner break which allows filmmakers to network with each other, job fair and the wrap party.
Beginning the Best of Film Festival will be the job fair. It begins at 11 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. It is free to attend. Full-time employment, part-time employment, independent contractors, internships from a variety of related companies will be filling an array of positions. Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and to bring copies of their résumés.
From 12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m., the Love Your Shorts Film Festival block will occur. The films which will be screened are: “Hyper- Reality”, “The Devil Goes Down”, “Birthday”, “Salesmen”, “Hada”, “Tempo”, “Crow Hand”, “Nelly” and “Oh Possum”.
STARTFEST will run from 1:45 p.m. to 3 p.m. and will show the following: “A Walk Down the Aisle”, “Afloat”, “Mammoth”, “Esoteric”, “Damsels in Distress”, “Breathe, Desperately”, “Projection”, “American Seoul”, “Again”, “The Witness”, “The Salt Life”, “In Memory”, “Belonging: Complete Series”, “RunCatRun”, “Sorry”, “The Art of Farming” and “Phantasmagoric!”
FantaSci Film Festival is set to begin at 3:30 p.m. and end at 4:45 p.m. “Real Artists”, “Maria Fernanda in Time”, “Beyond the Terminator”, “ The Night Circus”, “Tears in the Rain”, “Elixir”, “Echoes in the Dark”, “Mechanism of Life”, “Illegal Aliens” and “Wires” will be shown.
End of Days Film Festival will run from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. “Savor”, “The Last Night”, “Born Again”, “Pandemonium”, “The Policy”, “Blasted”, “Of Men and Mice”, “Destroy Madrid” and “Monsters” will be showcased.
Dinner break and filmmakers will network from 6:30 p.m. and wrap up at 7:30 p.m. It will be followed by the 48 Hour Film Project Screening. “Jason and Chalie’s Skunk Ape Hunters Extreme”, “A Couple of Thoughts”, “Contact”, “Days of Ash”, “You Got This”, “87”, “Viral”, “Parallel” and “For Luck” will be made viewable.
Films selected for Best of Film Festival were by up-and-coming film festivals. They were chosen by local, domestic and international filmmakers.
