Chicago Open Air Presents announces lineup

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. – Chicago Open Air Presents takes place at SeatGeek Stadium, on May 18 and May 19. Doors will open at 2 p.m. Danny Wimmer Presents and Live Nation are co-producers of the festival.
On Saturday, May 18—the groups are: System of a Down, Ghost, Meshuggah, Beartooth, Code Orange, Knocked Loose and Vein.
Acts of Sunday, May 19 are: Tool, The Prodigy, Gojira, In This Moment, Fever 333, The Black Dahlia Murder and Alien Weaponry.
Lineup is subject to change.
"I can’t even begin to express how excited we are to be playing Chicago Open Air Presents," Maria Brink (frontwoman of In This Moment) said. “We had such a blast last time! Tool, The Prodigy and System Of A Down, that’s insane and such a powerful lineup. We feel blessed to be a part of it all. These are some of our all time favorite bands, I can’t wait to see you all there with In This Moment.”
Tickets to attend Chicago Open Air Presents go on sale at noon Central Time, on Dec. 4. They can be purchased at www.chicagoopenair.com. Initial prices are the following and exclude fees:
Two-day General Admission Field: $249.50
Two-day General Admission Bowl: starting at $179.50
Two-day very important person (VIP): $429.50
Single Day VIP: $249.50
Single Day General Admission Field: $149.50
Single Day General Admission Bowl: starting at $99.50
The following perks come with the VIP packages: premium viewing area on field or premium reserved seat in the bowl level of the stadium, access to dedicated VIP entrance to the stadium, access to a VIP hang area featuring dedicated food and beverage offerings, access to VIP-only restroom facilities, commemorative Chicago Open Air Presents VIP laminate.
Sponsor of Chicago Open Air Presents is Revolution Brewing. They are the largest independently produced brewery in Ill., 40th largest brewery and 50th largest overall brewery in the country based in volume—according to Brewers Association.
Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) is based out of Los Angeles. DWP events include: Aftershock Festival, Bourbon & Beyond, Epicenter Festival, Hometown Rising, Louder Than Life, Northern Invasion, Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival and Welcome To Rockville. They were the co-creators of Rock On The Range and Carolina Rebellion. Both festivals ended in 2018 and had over 100,000 attendees several times.
