BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. – Chicago Open Air’s set time were announced, on June 20. Along with set times, the ReverbNation Battle of the Bands contest opened and is allowing one unsigned band to open the BlackCraft stage, on July 15. Also, Loudwire premiered the new edition of “The Vikings Are Coming!”
Celebrating two years, Chicago Open Air takes place from July 14 through July 16 and it will be a Toyota Park. The headlining acts are KISS (Friday, July 14), Korn (Saturday, July 15) and Ozzy Osbourne with Zakk Wylde (Sunday, July 16). The set times and stages are located below and they are subject to change.
Submission for the opportunity to play will end on Friday, June 30 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. The winner will be chosen and announced on Wednesday, July 5. For more information, click here.

Kuma’s Corner located at 2900 W. Belmont will be the establishment of the Chicago Open Air Kickoff Dinner and it will be hosted by SiriusXM’s Liquid Metal host, Jose Mangin. It is presented by Danny Wimmer Presents and takes place on Wednesday, July 13 at 7 p.m. 100 tickets are available by clicking here.
Gourmet Man Food will be on site with food by: Bruges Brothers, Chicago Doghose, Crème of the Crop, Dia De Los Tamales, Dinky’s Donuts, Kuma’s Corner, Pizano’s, Yum Dum, Aporkalypse Now, Porkchop, The Big Cheesy, Ben’s Burrito Bowl, Master of Patties, Pie Baby and The Cheesies Truck.
Headbangers Bier Hall will be presented by Decibel Magazine featuring: Goose Island, Half Acre Beer Company, Iron Maiden’s Trooper Beer, Lagunitas, Motorhead Wine, Revolution Brewing, Two Brothers Brewing and more to be announced.
