Chvrches and Mansionair to uplift House of Blues

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Chvrches’ and Mansionair will fill the House of Blues with their hymns, on Oct. 30. Their national tour will begin on Sept. 29 at Central Park Summerstage in New York and it will end on Nov. 27 at Alexandra Palace in London, United Kingdom. For their last performance, Four Tet will share the same bill as them.
Lauren Mayberry is the lead vocalist, plays with the synthesizer and sampler, Iain Cook assists with the synthesizer, is the guitarist and bassist, Martin Doherty also plays the synthesizer and sampler for Chvrches. Cook and Doherty provide backup vocals.
While on tour—Chvrches will promote their upcoming album, “Every Open Eye”, due out on Sept. 25. A special edition version is available for purchase and bundles include a commemorative t-shirt for the album. For every album purchase made through their website—customers will receive an instant download of the song, “Leave A Trace”. The formats include vinyl, compact disc and digital.

Lachlan Bostock is the vocalist and guitarist, Alex Nicholls is the drummer and Jack Froggatt is the bassist and plays the synthesizer for Mansionair. They will be promoting their four track EP, “Pick Me Up”. The lead single from the EP is “Speak Easy”. Other songs include “Pick Me Up”, “Hold Me Down” and “Hold Me Down (Maths Time Joy Remix)”.
“Pick Me Up” is Mansionair’s second EP, following 2014’s “Hold Me Down”. It also featured the Maths Time Joy Remix of “Hold Me Down”, as well as two other remixes. “Second Night” and “Hold Me Down” rounds the EP up.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sareth Ney is the entertainment journalist for A Quarter and Dream Pictures. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Center for New Media from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He is a former apprentice to master of horror, Clive Barker. He is known as the journalist/superhero, Wu-Man Chu, after meeting members of Wu-Tang Clan. He is an award-winning short filmmaker; his goal is to write 150 articles in select time zones, inducts artists into his hall of fame, founder and co-host of No Cover Podcast and is the festival director at Sareth-Fest Music, Comedy and Short Film Festival.
