Project Greenlight Digital Studios, Shudder, Adaptive Studios and Seraphim Inc. presents Clive Barker's Reel Fear competition

LOS ANGELES – Project Greenlight Digital Studios, Shudder, Adaptive Studios and Clive Barker’s Seraphim Inc. have joined forces to bring Clive Barker Presents Reel Fear. Submissions opened on Feb. 13, 2017 at 10 a.m.
Entries are accepted until March 17 at 11:59 a.m. Public voting will open on April 18 at 10 a.m. Public voting closes on April 25 at 11:59 a.m. The top five will be announced on May 8 at 11:59 a.m. Final scenes are due on July 7 at 11:59 a.m. They will be displayed on July 11 at 10 a.m. Winners will be announced on Aug. 1 at 10 a.m.
For consideration, videos must be between one minute and three minutes long and must include the following: introduction of the filmmaker, background in filmmaking, reasoning to make an indie horror film, clear and concise plot summary, it must be an original story line, why the characters are interesting, why the pitch should be should be chosen, show creativity, it must be incomplete, in MP4 format, aspect ratio must be 1920x1080 and 1 gigabyte or less.
If a director reel, outline, script, storyboard and treatment are available, those who submit are encouraged to link them all together with their submission form. On April 11, 10 semi-finalists will be announced and will be requested to submit a three to five page treatment. All material will be due by 11:59 a.m. on April 25.
After the public votes, the semi-finalist who receives the most votes will be move into the Top 5 finalist round and an automatic spot to attend Shudder Labs in June. The top 10 semi-finalists will be interviewed by judges from Adaptive Studios and Shudder via Skype/conference calls and will last 30 minutes each, from April 26 through May 5.
On May 8 at 10 a.m., the five finalists will be announced on projectgreenlight.com. They will be responsible to arrange travel and accommodations to attend Shudder Labs. On June 16, finalists will be provided $2,000 to write and produce. Scenes are due by on July 7 at 11:59 a.m. and must be emailed to [email protected]. A panel represented by Adaptive Studios and
Shudder will conduct an interview with the top five finalists, from July 11 to July 18.
