Collective Soul's See What You Started tour to start at House of Blues

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Collective Soul will kick off the See What You Started tour at House of Blues, on Sept. 29. They will travel west, back east and conclude on Nov. 28 at House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The tour’s trailer can be seen, by clicking here. They will be promoting their ninth album, “See What You Started”, and it will be released on Oct.2. They are celebrating their 21st anniversary, as well.
Ed Roland is the vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist, Dean Roland and Jesse Triplett are the guitarists, Will Turpin is the bassist, and Johnny Rabb is the drummer of Collective Soul.
“This”, the lead single from “See What You Started”, is available as a free download and it can be accessed by visiting their website here. “This”, “Hurricane” and “AYTA” will also be three bonus tracks, if the digital versions are preordered through Apple iTunes.
“Some songs I present to the band, it takes a couple of passes before they sing their teeth into it, Ed Roland spoke of “Hurricane”. “But ‘Hurricane’ was raging from the start. Always a good sign when the band is loud and smiling!”

Formed in the early 1990s, Collective Soul began their musical journey in Stockbridge, Ga. Their album, “Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid”, was released. It featured their hit single, “Shine”. It was heard throughout college radio stations, mainstream radio stations, the music video was seen on Music Television (MTV) and it lead them to go on tour with Aersomith. Through the years—Collective Soul would continue to top charts with hit singles and continue to sell millions of records. In 2009, they were inducted into The Georgia Music Hall of Fame.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sareth Ney is the entertainment journalist for A Quarter and Dream Pictures. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Center for New Media from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He is a former apprentice to master of horror, Clive Barker.
