The Secret Group Comedy Club and Bar's stage set for Come and Take It Comedy Takeover

HOUSTON – Come and Take It Comedy Takeover will take over The Secret Group Comedy Club and Bar, from Nov. 17 through Nov. 20. It is the first multiple day comedy festival in Houston.
Maria Bamford, Joey Diaz, Tim Meadows, Todd Barry, Har Mar Superstar, Nick Thune, Dana Gould, Kill Tony Podcast, Rhea Butcher, Goddamn Comedy Jam, Morgan Murphy, Todd Barry Podcast, Tony Hinchcliffe, Joe Derosa, Baron Vaugh, James Adomian, Jackie Kashian, Annie Lederman, Tim Dillon, Jenny Zigrinoj, Matthew Broussard, Sabrina Jalees, Nick Guerra, Billy Wayne Davis, Jenny Johnson, Andy Huggins, Chris Trew, Maggie Maye, Slade Ham, Bob Biggerstaff, Jay Whittcotton, Avery Moore, Lydia Popovich, Gabe Braveo, Quincy Johnson, Andrew Youngblood, Dusti Rhodes, Stephen Brandau, Reed Becker, Dale Cheesman, Zahid Dewji, Atsuko Okatsuka, Rachel Streitmann, Kiki Maroon, Katie Stone, Vanessa Gritton, Maria Wojciechowskki, Jerry Tran, Roxxy Haze, Heather Turman, Adam Rob, Tanya Do Nascimento, Theo Taylor, Katie Mcgee, Zac Brooks, Son Tran and Britt Vasiceck are all slated to be part of Come and Take It Comedy Takeover.
Media outlets, Free Press Houston and Houston Press, have praised Come and Take It Comedy Takeover. “No matter how you slice it, that’s a lot of laughs for the money,” Free Press Houston stated. “The moment the Come & Take It Comedy Takeover proved it was serious business came near the end of local legend Andy Huggins’ set,” Houston Press cited.
In 2015, Come and Take It Comedy Takeover began. After one successful event in 2016, they added a second set of dates for the festival in Nov.
Single three day pass for Come and Take It Comedy Takeover are $79. Very important person (VIP) tickets are $129. VIP includes admission to all the kick-off party on, Oct. 17. It also includes the three days of the festival, swag bag, premium seating and the official t-shirt. The prices exclude service and shipping fees.
