ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Karla Wagner’s Corazon Cinema and Café will host the first annual Corazon Comedy Festival, from Dec. 15 through Dec. 17. It brings together all forms related to comedy including: improv, podcasts, motion pictures, sketch, stand-up and more. Wagner is partnering with comedian, Sareth Ney.
“The Corazon Cinema and Café is a local nostalgic theater and café supporting local community events and causes,” Wagner stated. “It needs your help in raising funds to support the venue that has been hit twice in a year by hurricanes. The venue has incurred a lot of damage and destruction. Please support The Corazon Cinema and Café by attending the comedy festival on December 15 - December 17.”
“When I first visited St. Augustine and the Corazon Cinema and Café, I fell in love with both,” Ney cited. “After being struck with two hurricanes in one year, I knew I had to do something to help the Corazon rebuild. Plus, they support stand-up comedy with a showcase every second Friday of each month. I wanted to bring a festival to benefit those all involved and nurture the comedy scene.”
Sponsorship, partnership and advertising opportunities are available. For The Corazon Cinema and Café—businesses will be able to advertise at a special rate of $50, for the month of December on the screens. For $100—Ney’s website, www.aqdpi.com, offers advertising space for content produced on his website for the month of December.
