The St. Augustine Amphitheatre to welcome Death Cab for Cutie, CHVRCHES and Pure Bathing Culture

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Death Cab for Cutie and CHVRCHES co-headlining tour will bring them to The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, on June 14. Pure Bath Culture will be the direct support. The expedition begins at Jacobs Pavilion in Cleveland, on June 7. It will conclude at Uptown Amphitheatre in Charlotte, N.C., on June 16.
Ben Gibbard is the vocalist, guitarist and pianist, Nick Harmer is the bassist and Jason McGerr is the drummer of Death Cab for Cutie. They are an alternative rock band hailing from Seattle and are part of the Atlantic Records roster.
Since forming in 1997, Death Cab for Cutie released a total of seven records. “Kintsugi” was the most recent.

Lauren Mayberry is the lead vocalist, plays with the synthesizer and sampler, Iain Cook assists with the synthesizer, is the guitarist and bassist, Martin Doherty also plays the synthesizer and sampler for CHVRCHES. Cook and Doherty provide backup vocals. Their genre is eletrotronic and are from Glasgow, Scotland.
“Every Open Eye” was CHVRCHES latest album. It was released in 2015.

Sareth Ney is the entertainment journalist for A Quarter and Dream Pictures.
