JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Doyle and Davey Suicide will bring their Abominate The World Tour to Nighthawks, on June 4. Their expedition begins on June 1 at The Maywood, in Raleigh, N.C. It will conclude on June 29 at Evening Star Hall, in Niagara Falls, N.Y.
Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein is the guitarist, Alex “Wolfman” Story is the vocalist, Brandon Strate is the bassist and Brandon “The Crusher” Pertzborn is the drummer of Doyle.
Doyle’s album, “Abominator”, was released in 2013. It featured 11 songs: “Abominator”, “Learn To Bleed”, “Deamingdeadgirls”, “Headhunter”, “Valley of Shadows”, “Land of the Dead”, “Cemeterysexxx”, “Love Like Murder”, “Mark of the Beast”, “Bloodstains” and “Hope Hell Is Warm”.
“After I had written all this music, I realized I had to get someone to sing this stuff- once I’m done recording guitars, all I can see is myself just playing that riff, ya know?” Von Frankenstein stated. “That’s my thing, not lyrics and singing. I’ve known Alex for a while, so I called him up, then sent him a bunch of the tunes. Two days later he sent me back ‘Mark of the Beast’, just like it is on the record. I said ‘That’s exactly what I want!’, and the rest is history. I only wrote the word ‘abominator’- all the rest of that stuff is Alex. He’s just crazy, man.”
Davey Suicide is the vocalist, Niko Gemini is the guitarist, Derek Obscura is the bassist, Drayven Davidson is the drummer, Needlz is the backup vocalist, keyboardist and programmer of Davey Suicide. They are a gutter goth rock band from UnHolyood, Killafornia (Hollywood, Calif.).
Formed in 2010—Davey Suicide went on 16 tours, played over 330 concerts and on two continents. They shared the stage with musical acts: Static-X, Combichrist, Wednesday 13, Twistid, Ill Niño, Orgy, New Years Day and William Control.
Since 2012, Davey Suicide released six studio projects including: the single “Generation F**k Star” (2012), the four track extended play (EP) “Put Our Trust in Suicide” (2012), the self-title d “Davey Suicide” (2013), the long play (LP) “Worldwide Suicide” (2014) and the single known as “Rise Above” (2016). On March 24, 2017—“Made From Fire” was distributed.
“All of this adversity tested us and forced us to learn how to survive,” Suicide spoke of “Made From Fire”. “It could have ended us, but instead, we’ve created our most exciting collection of material to date as a result.”
