Driven Music Conference 2015 will take place at Fort Lauderdale’s Embassy Suites and Revolution Live

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.—Driven Music Conference will take place from May 28 through May 31, at the Embassy Suite and Revolution Live. It is a Driven Entertainment Group event and it was designed to connect artists and music fans with expert, music industry professionals. With the opportunity presenting itself, it hopes to advance the careers of all musicians selected.
For the fifth year anniversary, five ReverbNation artists will be selected to perform. There is no submission fee. However, the submissions end soon and are due by April 9. To submit an application to be one of the chosen few, please click here. In order to qualify for the Driven Music Conference, all musicians must have a ReverbNation account and have an active subscription to ReverbNation Press Kits.
The information ReverbNation needs are the name of the act, which genre they are, which part of the country they are from, contact information via phone number and one song for consideration. It will give them the ability to upload it from their computers. The maximum size for songs is 8MB. If the size of the MP3 exceeds the number allotted—other options are available, when they upgrade their ReverbNation profiles to the higher tiers by clicking here. The artists must also include the name of the song, must own the rights to it, allow permission to use the song because they care about musicians protecting their creative works.
Each band member from the five artists selected for the Driven Music Conference will receive a free two-day panel passes to the panel discussion and a free two-night showcase tickets. Those submitting an application will receive one free two-day panel and one free two-night showcase ticket, whether they are selected to perform or not. It is ReverbNation and Driven Music Conference’s way to thank them for showing interest for participating in the event.
Panels will feature Vans Warped Tour and The Entertainment Institute Founder, Kevin Lyman. Sire/Warner Bros. Records Director of A&R Eric McLellan will also have a panel. Lionsgate Films Music Supervisor, Mike Burns will also be part of a panel, as well. Top producers, booking agents, music media and much more will be part of the numerous panels too.
