Finn's Beachside Pub to host Indie Artists Night competition

FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. – Indie Artists Night returns to Finn’s Beachside Pub, on Feb. 10. It is a competition for singers, songwriters and duos. The contest was designed to showcase the original works of all those competing. New competitors will compete every other Wednesday and the finals will be held on April 27. Start times will vary from 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., due to the weather and the event taking place on the upper deck of the venue. For Feb. 10, the event will begin at 4 p.m.
Tony Paul Neal will return as the host of Finn’s Beachside Pub’s Indie Artists Night. He will open the contest with a small set of his original works. He thanked those for reaching out and cited how much he loved artists performing original music.
On Jan. 22, a social networking invite was opened. Comments poured in from those wanting to know the rules and where to sign up. Seven spots were open and were quickly grabbed. Competitors of the last Finn’s Beachside Pub Indie Artists Night, Uncle Eddie & Robin, reached out to return. On Feb. 1, Neal announced Coors would be one of the sponsors of the event.
Rules of the Finn’s Beachside Pub’s Indie Artists Night event include: pre-recorded tracks or drum machines will not be allowed, live looping is accepted, it is open to all single and duo acts, all genres are welcome to participate, winners will receive airplay on Surf 97.3 FM and the winning act will receive $1,000. Sponsors of Finn’s Beachside Pub’s Indie Artist Night are Surf 97.3 FM,S.R. Perrott, Inc. and Coors Light.

The upcoming dates are as follow: Feb. 24, March 16, March 30 and the finals will take place on April 27. Lori Grigsby, Dylan Morrison, Mark Chirico, Amy Denson, Elliott Kayne, Doug Rexroth, Daniel T. Pray and Logan Bruce will be competing on Feb. 10.
“What a lineup!!,” Grigbsy stated. “I’m excited to be in such great company!!”
Grigsby and Denson also stated how they were looking forward to Finn’s Beachside Pub’s Indie Artists Night. Kayne announced he will be bringing up a guest, Melissa Trumble, to assist him with songs about women. Trumble stated how she was looking forward to the competition, as well.
