Flagler Film Festival to take place at Hilton Garden Inn

FLAGLER BEACH, Fla.—Flagler Film Festival will be taking place at the Hilton Garden Inn, from Jan. 15 through Jan. 17. It will be celebrating three years.
Wolfe Productions, LLC and Cashback International, Inc. are the co-founders of the Flagler Film Festival. The festival was created by filmmakers and for filmmakers. The festival hopes to shine the spotlight on upcoming filmmakers, open doors to experienced filmmakers and those shooting on a shoe-string budget. Trailblazing filmmakers are welcomed to submit and special consideration will be given to the students. The festival believes more creativity can be discovered, with those working with little to no budget. No matter where their level of filmmaking is, they are open to show their films to a broader audience.
Renny Roker is a writer, producer and actor. Roker and Flagler Film Festival have joined forces to assist with the efforts. He is known for his roles in 47 films and 400 television episodes. He is currently in production with projects throughout Flagler County, mentors college students and performs charity work. Along with being associated with Roker, Flagler Film Festival is also associated with 10th Voyage Studios. It is located in Palm Coast, Fla.
Categories for the Flagler Film Festival include: Action, Drama, Horror, Sci-Fi, Romance/Comedy, Documentary, Shorts and Anything Goes. The opening date was Feb. 21, the Early Bird deadline was May 1 and the regular deadline was July 1. The late deadline will be Sept. 1, the extended deadline will be Sept. 11 and the notification date will be Nov. 15. All submissions should be received by Dec. 15. Four passes will be provided to those submitting a full-length film and two will be provided to those submitting a short film.
Short films should be one minute to 44 minutes. Feature length movies should be 45 minutes to 120 minutes. Any film longer than the time frame will be considered for the Flagler Film Festival. Films ranging from the ratings equivalent to “G” to “R” will be accepted. Films which could be considered to be equivalent to NC-17 and X rated will not be accepted. It will be determined by the directors of the Flagler Film Festival. Foreign films must be dubbed or subtitled, as well.
