Artist and attractions announced for GonzoFest Louisville 2016

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Artists and attractions were announced to take part in GonzoFest Louisville, slated for April 16.
Fly Golden Eagle, Natural Child, Dr. Dundiff, Touch AC & The Smoke Shop Kids, Wax Fang, Chrome Pony, Quiet Hollers, Frederick The Younger, Your News Vehicles, Bottom Sop, The Tinderbox Circus Sideshow and Frogg Corpse & Mr. Stranger present The End of the World will be performing. Spoken word, libations, food, art and special guests are part of the activities. The New Vintage will host the official after-party. The Sundresses and Discount Guns will perform. Very special guests will be in attendance.
Thompson’s family members, Juan Thompson and Will Thompson, are scheduled to attend. Deborah Fuller, Thompson’s personal assistant, will also be in attendance. Los Angeles artist and GonzoToday art director, Joey Feldman, will also make an appearance. Gonzo Gallery’s, D.J. Watkins, will also be present. All five guests will visit the GonzoToday.com Big Top tent. The area will feature book signings, literary readings, live panels and more.
Special guests scheduled to be in attendance at GonzoFest Louisville include Hunter S. Thompson’s family members, Juan Thompson and Will Thompson. Deborah Fuller, Hunter S. Thompson’s former personal assistant, will be present. Los Angeles and GonzoToday art director, Joey Feldman, and D.J. Watkins will round up the special guests.
On April 17, Baxter Ave. Theatre will add to GonzoFest Louisville. “Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas” executive producer, Laila Nabulsi, will conduct a meet and greet/autograph session from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Viewing of the film will follow, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A question and answer will end the festivities, starting at 9 p.m.
In recent GonzoFest Louisville news, the festival held the 2016 Literary Journalism Contest. OK Osborne’s entry, “Plaintive West Virginia”, was announced as the winner. It will go onto be published in the April 13 issues of the LEO Weekly.
GonzoFest Louisville 2016 marks the sixth year anniversary of the festival. It will take place at Waterfront Park on the Big Four Lawn from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m., the cost of admission is $20 and it will be sponsored by Falls City Beer and Four Roses Bourbon.,

Sareth Ney is the entertainment journalist for A Quarter and Dream Pictures. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Center for New Media from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He is a former apprentice to master of horror, Clive Barker. He is a Wu-Tang Clan inspired superhero, Wu-Man Chu.
