In 1985, Guns N’ Roses formed in Los Angeles. They made their debut in 1987 with “Appetite for Destruction”. The album would go onto sale 30 million worldwide. It was the best-selling U.S. debut ever. In 1991, “Use Your Illusion I” and “Use Your Illusion II” went platinum seven times over. They entered the Billboard Top 200 charts as the first and second entries.
As the decades came and went, they released a total of six studio albums. They have headlined festivals and sold out shows, throughout the world. “Chinese Democracy” was Guns N’ Roses most recent album and it was released in 2008. Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified the album with platinum status. They previously announced two shows in Las Vegas with Alice in Chains. They also played a show at Doug Weston’s Troubadour, the venue which launched their career.
