Stand-Up comedy shows happening from Sept. 17 through 23

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – For the dates of Sept. 17 through Sept. 23, there will be stand-up comedy shows taking place throughout the city.
On Sept. 17, Hot Potato Comedy Hour is hosted by Chris Buck and takes place at Rain Dogs. The format of the stand-up comedy open mic is one comic calls up the next comic on the list. It is an open mic, five minutes are provided to each comic, free to attend, sign up is at 9 p.m. and begins after 9:30 p.m.

LOL Comedy Night at Comedy Zone occurs, on Sept. 18 and Sept. 19. Mirza Alijagic headlines the first night and Bobby Parker will be the headliner for the second night. Both shows begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.
The Reunion Show takes place at Comedy Zone, on Sept. 20. The lineup includes: Bob Lauver, Ernie Faivre, Kevin Loftus, Billy B, Danny Niblock and Grandma Lee. Tickets are $10.

“One Night Only with Dave Stone” will take place at Dahlia’s Pour House, on Sept. 20. It is presented by Comedy Uncaged. Marcus Crespo will host. Casey Bryant Crawford, James Chafin, Steve Thompson and Moon are part of the bill. Seating will begin at 7:30 p.m. and it will promptly start at 8 p.m. Tickets to attend are $12.

Following “One Night Only with Dave Stone”, the Rock Paper Scissors Comedy Hour will begin at Dahlia’s Pour House. It is produced and hosted by Christina Schriver. It is free to attend, is an open mic format and anyone can sign up to perform. There are limited spots and everyone receives five minutes to perform.
