Jim Breuer's "Marriage Warrior Tour" to include Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Jim Breuer will be bringing his “Marriage Warrior Tour” to Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, on March 9. His expedition begins at Improv Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on March 3. It will conclude at Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, Conn., on Nov. 10. He is an actor, author, comedian, disc jockey and philanthropist.
Breuer’s acting career began on ABC’s “Home Improvement”. In 1995—he spent five years as a cast member on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live”. His notable characters were “Goat Boy” and his impression of Joe Pesci. After his tenure, he appeared in the following films: “Beer League”, “Dick”, “Half Baked”, “The Jim Breuer Road Journals”, “Titan A.E.”, “Zookeeper” and “More Than Me”. “More Than Me” was shown at the 2009 Montreal Film Festival.
As a guest, Breuer has appeared on the following: “Howard Stern Show”, “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”, “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”, “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”, “The Late Show with Craig Ferguson”, “The Marriage Ref” and “Uptown Comedy Club”. He hosted “Beach House” on MTV and “Web Junk 20” on VH1. His comedy specials include: Comedy Central’s “Let’s Clear the Air” and “And Laughter For All”. Comedy Central named him as one of the greatest 100 stand-up comedians of all time.
In 2011—Breuer released his autobiography, “I’m Not High: (But I’ve Got A Lot of Crazy Stories about Life as a Goat Boy, a Dad, and a Spiritual Warrior)”. The book shined light on his early beginnings, his ascension into fame and the lessons he learned along the way. He added humor to his personal stories.
As a comedian, Breuer toured the U.S. repeatedly. In 2008, he went on tour with his father. In 2011—he went on “The Anti-Social Network Tour” with Dave Attell, Bill Burr and Jim Norton.
Through broadcasting, Breuer combines comedy. He hosts “Fridays with Breuer” on Sirius/XM and the “Mets and More Podcast”. His guests have included: Bill Cosby, Chris Rock, Dennis Leary, Jeff Foxworthy and Jerry Seinfeld.
Charities Breuer is involved with include: Chris Farley Foundation, MusiCares, local police and fire departments in the N.J. area.
