Orlando Improv's stage set for Jo Koy

ORLANDO, Fla. – Jo Koy will be performing four stand-up comedy routines over two nights at the Orlando Improv, on Jan. 20 and Jan. 21. The shows begin his comedic showcases of 2017. As of now—his expedition will end with six performances, spanning over three days (March 23 through March 25) and at a venue to be announced, in Salt Lake City. He is an actor, comedian, philanthropist, producer and writer.
As an actor—Koy portrayed the store manager on “Kevin Nealon: Now Hear Me Out!”, in 2009. Four years later, he played Berrick in the pilot episode of “Family Tools”.
Koy’s comedy could be found on one episode of the following television programs: “BET’s Comicview”, “Comedy Central Presents” and “Just For Laughs”. He was the writer of his own material for each.
In 2009, Koy was the writer and executive producer of “Jo Koy: Don’t Make Him Angry”. Three years later, he was the executive producer of “Jo Koy: Lights Out”.

Working with The Lupus Foundation, Koy has helped raise tens of thousands of dollars to raise awareness and fund research studies. He has visited their headquarters and participated in the Walk to End Lupus too.
Koy’s showcases for Jan. 20 and Jan. 21 range from $25 to $30 each. His performance at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 21 is sold out. The prices exclude sales tax and electronic delivery fees.
