House of Blues' stage set for Jodeci

ORLANDO, Fla. - Jodeci will be performing at House of Blues, on Dec. 11. The doors will open at 7 p.m., will begin at 8 p.m. and tickets range from $35 to $77. The price excludes the service fee.
K-Ci, JoJo, Mr. Dalvin and DeVante Swing are the members of Jodeci. They are from N.C., are part of the Sphinx Music Entertainment and Epic Records roster.
“Forever My Lady” was the album debut for Jodeci, in 1991. It featured three singles: “Stay”, “Come and Talk to Me” and “Forever My Lady”. The rest of the songs were: “I’m Still Waiting”, “U & I”, “Interlude”, “My Phone”, “Gotta Love”, “Play Thang”, “It’s Alright”, “Treat U” and “Xs We Share”.
Two years later, Jodeci released their second record called “Diary of a Mad Band”. It included the songs: “My Heart Belongs To U”, ‘What About Us”, “Cry For You”, “Alone”, “Feenin’”, “Ride & Slide”, “You Got It”, “Won’t Waste You”, “in the Meanwhile”, “Gimme All You Got”, “Sweaty” and “Jodecidal Hotline”.
In 1995—Jodeci’s third release, “The Show, the After Party, The Hotel”, was made available. It consisted of: “The Show”, “Bring on Da’ Funk”, “Room 723”, “Fun 2 Nite”, “Room 577”, “S-More”, “The After-Party”, “Get On Up”, “Room 499”, “Can We Flo?”, “Zipper”, “Let’s Do It All”, “P.I.B. 4Play”, “Pump It Back”, “DJ Don Jeremy”, “Freek’n You”, “Room 454: DeVante’s Inhermission”, “Time & Place”, “Fallin’, “Love U 4 Life”, “4 U” and “Good Luv”.
On March 31, 2012—“The Past, The Present, The Future” was Jodeci’s latest offering. The 12 songs were: “Too Hot” featuring AV, “Sho Out”, “Checkin For You”, “Those Things”, “Every Moment”, “Nobody Wins” featuring B.o.B., “Incredible”, “Jennifer”, “Body Parts” featuring Milla J., “Stress Reliever”, “Sho Out” featuring “Liana Banks” and “Nobody Wins”. Timbaland produced two songs, on the album. For the “Every Moment” video, Jodeci linked back up with Hype Williams and filmed it in Aspen, Colo. Williams also directed “Feenin’, from 1993’s “Diary of a Mad Band”. Breyon Prescott came up with the concept.
“We reignited,” stated Mr. Dalvin. “That fire, we never really put it out. We just dimmed it. K-Ci and JoJo were really successful. I was producing for Mariah Carey and Devante had all his things going on behind the scenes. As far as the group, it’s like a well-oiled antique car. It doesn’t lose value. We just parked it for a while.”
