The Peabody Auditorium to host one date of Kathy Griffin's Like A Boss Tour

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Kathy Griffin will bring her “Like A Boss” Tour to The Peabody Auditorium, on March 30. The 2016 leg of her 80 city tour kicks off at Fantasy Spring Casino, on Jan. 9. It will conclude at Mirage in Las Vegas, on July 1. Griffin is known for her works in publishing, on stage, on television and film.
Griffin’s memoir, “Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin”, debuted at number one on the New York Times Bestseller List. She has written and starred in 20 televised stand-up comedy specials. The feat earned her a Guinness Book of World Records title, in 2013.She has been nominated for six Grammy awards for her comedy albums and won one for “Kathy Griffin: Calm Down Gurrl”, in 2014. The nomination also made her history because it was her sixth consecutive selection.
Bravo’s television series, “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List”, was aired for six years. Every year it was on air, it received Primetime Emmy Awards and Griffin ended up winning twice. The television show also earned the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Award for Best Reality Program. It also received six nominations from the Producers Guild of America.
When it comes to Griffin’s other awards and accolades—she holds awards from the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America’s Leadership in Entertainment honor, GLAAD’s Vanguard award, Gracie Award for Outstand Lead, The Human Rights Campaign’s Ally for Equality and The Trevor Life Award from the Trevor Project.

Sareth Ney is the entertainment journalist for A Quarter and Dream Pictures.
