Daily's Place stage set for Lauryn Hill, Nas and Chronixx

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Lauryn Hill and Nas will be co-headlining at Daily’s Place, on Sept. 23. Chronixx will be the direct support. Their expedition is set to begin on Sept. 7 at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island in Chicago. It will conclude on Oct. 11 at Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columba, Canada.
In the 1990s—Hill was a member of Fugees and released two albums, “Blunted on Reality” and “The Score.
Hill released her solo debut album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill”. It was distributed by Columbia/Ruffhouse Records. Her achievements and accolades for the record were reaching number one in the U.S. and Canada. It was certified platinum many times over, throughout the world.
Outside of music, Hill could be seen on the screen. She acted in the following television programs: “As The World Turns”, “Here and Now” and “ABC Afterschool Specials”. She co-starred in the films: “King of the Hill”, “Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit”, “Hav Plenty” and “Restaurant”.
Nas is a hip-hop artist from Queensbridge, N.Y. He resides in New York and part of the Def Jam roster.
Throughout Nas’ music career, he released 11 studio projects: “Illmatic”, “It Was Written”, “I Am…”, “Nastradamus”, “Stillmatic”,”From Illmatic to Stillmatic The Remixes EP”, “The Lost Tapes”, “God’s Son”, “Street’s Disciple”, “Hip Hop Is Dead”, ”Untitled”, “Distant Relatives” (Bonus Track Version), “Nasty” (Single), “Life Is Good” (Deluxe Version) and “Illmatic XX”.
Motion pictures Nas could be seen in are the following: “Belly”, “Sacred Is The Flesh”, “Ticker”, “John Q”, “Uptown Girls”, “Black Nativity”, “Waltz” and “Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping”. He appeared in an episode of the television series, “Hawaii Five-O”.
Chronixx is a reggae artist. His band members are the Zincfence Redemption. He is from Spanish Town, Jamaica and is signed to Soul Circle Records.
“Hooked on Chronixx” was Chronixx’s first EP and it was released in 2011. It featured songs such as: “Start A Fyah”, “Warrior” and Behind Curtain”. In 2014, he would release “The Dread & Terrible Project”. It reached the top of the charts on both Billboard and iTunes charts, in the U.K. and Japan. It was accompanied by the short film, “Rastaman Wheel Out”, directed by Ras Kassa. In July of the same year, Jimmy Fallon requested him to perform on his late night talk show.
