Less Than A Sea makes soundwaves at Planet! Sarbez!

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Less Than A Sea sailed to Planet! Sarbez!, on March 11. They were the headlining act. Alter and Lines In The Sky were the openers and Stereo-Type was the direct support.
Trevor John is the vocalist and guitarist, Jon Harris is the drummer and Jay Kelly is the bassist of Less Than A Sea.
After the members of Less Than A See took a drink of their beverages, John asked them what they should start their showcase off with. He suggested “99 Bottles of Beer” and they briefly played the instrumental. John started the show with “You’re Totally Going To Hate Me For It”. Vincent Victor Oath, guitarist and lead vocalist of Stereo-Type, stood in front of Kelly and he sang along with John.
Prior to the start of “The Second Part (In Spanish)”, John welcomed the crowd to the spring break in St. Augustine, Fla. He said even though their band page on a social networking stated they were from Orlando, Fla., they were actually Daytona Beach, Fla. from He joked and continued to say the government actually ran it. Then, he said the song would be on their next album and they will begin recording it in April. Kelly adjusted the strap of his bass and they continued on with the performance.
John decided for the set list to be rearranged and suggested Less Than A Sea play “St. Augustine”. He stated it was a love song. He said it was their $1 million song. He was toying with the audience it actually cost the band $100 to record it.
Before “I’m Done Lying”, John pointed out Kelly was a local of the city. He went onto say the crowd could see him skateboarding around town. Then, John played the opening instrumental of one of P!nk’s songs. Then, he played a bit of Blink-182’s “What’s My Age Again?”
Harris stepped away from his drum set, before “Greetings From The Aftermath”. John said the song was from their extended play (EP) record. He continued by saying the song was about not being a good person. Kelly assisted him with the song. Harris returned to the stage and Less Than A Sea ended with “Always Dying”.
“Haven’t You Heard”, “Bourbon + Water”, “We Both Know”, “Between Me + You” and Paul Simon’s “You Can Call Me Al” were also part of Less Than A Sea’s Set.
