Jack Rabbits to host one date of mc chris' "The mc chris Ten Years of Touring Tour"

Jacksonville, Fla. – mc chris’ “The mc chris Ten Years of Touring Tour” will be making a stop at Jack Rabbits, on Oct. 16. MC Lar s and Mega Ran will be joining him on the upcoming expedition. The trek will begin at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, on Sept. 29. It will conclude at Wow Hall in Eugene, Ore., on Nov. 20.
Hailing from Libertyville, Ill.—mc chris’ lyrics focuses on the realms of “Harry Potter”, ninjas, “Star Wars” and one-sided romance. While touring the nation and through eBay, mc chris raises funds to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. He and his fans have raised over $150,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Before mc chris became a lyricist—he held many job titles at Adult Swim on the cable network, Cartoon Network, including: actor, animator, songwriter and writer. His body of works consisted of: “Aqua Teen Hunger Force”, “Cheyenne Cinnamon”, “Sealab 2021”, “Space Ghost Coast to Coast”, “The Brak Show”, “Tight Bros.”, “Welcome to Etingville” and “Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell”.
MC Lars’ roots are from Oakland, Calif. He owns and operates his own record label, Horris Records. His style is categorized in “lit-hop” and “nerdcore hip-hop”. Lit-hop is a combination of literature, classical poetry and rap. He contributes to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and American Heart Association.
During MC Lars’ 10 year music career, he released four records, four extended plays (EPs) and countless mixtapes. After raising over $42,000 through Kickstarter—he distributed his fourth album, “Zombie Dinosaur”. Outside of music, he spoke and presented at two TEDx conferences. He has visited scholar/teacher residences at University of Southern California in Los Angeles, United Kingdom, Nantucket, Mass., Fla., Calif., Alaska and Kan.
Mega Ran is from Philadelphia, currently resides in Phoenix and is part of the RandomBeats, LLC and Brick Records rosters. Outside of music, he is a teacher and hero. His style of music is a combination of hip-hop, jazz, soul music, stand-up comedy, the 1980s and video games. He coins it “chip-hop”. Some of his career accolades include: signing a licensing deal with Capcom and his recording, “RNDM” debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hotseekers Hip Hop Chart.
At first, Mega Ran went by Random. He changed it to Mega Ran and paid homage to Mega Man. He created a tribute album to the video game character and was praised by Capcom.
