Monster Energy Houston Open Air set to return to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Monster Energy Houston Open will return to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion presented by Huntsman, on Oct. 14 and Oct. 15. Tickets for the event will be available for purchase on June 16.
25 musical acts will be performing on several stages and feature many onsite experience, will take place throughout Monster Energy Houston Open Air. Lineup for what is dubbed as “Texas’s biggest rock experience” will be announced on June 12 at 8:30 a.m. Central Time.
In 2016, there were three stages at Houston Open Air including: Jack Daniel’s Atlantis Stage, Bud Light Endeavor Stage and Monster Energy Discovery Stage. Scheduled to perform were: To Whom It May, Dinosaur Pile Up, Letlive, Jim Breuer and the Loud & Rowdy, Buckcherry, Chevy Metal, Gemini Syndrome, Max and Igor Cavalera Return to Roots, Sevendust, Anthrax, Ministry, Slayer, The World Alive, Sons of Texas, Texas Hippie Coalition, Sick Puppies, Alter Bridge, The Cult, Alice In Chains, September Mourning, Mothership, Kyng, Neck Deep, The Amity Affliction, Nothing More, Skindred, Young Guns, Hellyeah, Ghost, Pierce The Veil, Deftones, Twelve Foot Ninja, Starset, Avatar, Of Mice & Men, Barones, Chevelle and Avenged Sevenfold.
Experiences located on the festival grounds of Houston Open Air in 2016 included: Bud Light, Jack Daniel’s VIP Lounge, Gourmet Man Food, Tacolandia, El Jimador, F**k Cancer and Jack Daniel’s Whisky Row.
Due to the severe weather which occurred at the debut of Houston Open Air, Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) had to make changes to the schedule. Mothership, Skindred, Starset, Kyng, Avatar, Nothing More, Neck Deep, The Amity Affliction, Young Gun, Hellyeah, Ghost, Pierce The Veil, Deftones, Of Mice & Men, Baronesss, Chevelle and Avenged Sevenfold were scheduled to perform on Sept. 25, 2016. For 2017, DWP are determined to make it up to the rock community in the area.
