JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville was sold out, with 90,000 spectators in attendance. It took place from April 27 through April 29 at Metropolitan Park. For the first time, it spanned over three days. The area expanded too, as it flowed into the parking lots of Everbank Field.
Ozzy Osbourne, Foo Fighters and Avenged Sevenfold headlined. Osbourne began his “No More Tours 2”, Foo Fighters performed in the city for the first time in their over 20 year history, Billy Idol accompanied them with a special guest performance and fireworks flew during Avenged Sevenfold’s set. Godsmack celebrated 20 years. New lead vocalist, Jeff Gutt, accompanied Stone Temple Pilots. Up-and-comers also performed including: Greta Van Fleet, The Fever 333, Bad Wolves, MDFK and Yashira.
Stone Sour, Queens of the Stone Age, Texas Hippie Coalition, Underoath, The Used, Five Finger Death Punch, Palisades, ’68, Trivium, Parkway Drive, Halestorm, Them Evils, Toothgrinder, Power Trip, Atreyu, Tyler Bryan & The Shakedwown, Avater, Sevendust, Black Veil Brides, Hollywood Undead, Breaking Benjamin, Joyous Wolf, Red Sun Rising, Pop Evil, Asking Alexandria, Killswitch Engage, The Wild!, He Is Legend, Palaye Royale, Stick To Your Guns, Butcher Babies, Andrew W.K., The Bronx, Red Fang, Bullet For My Valentine, Fireball Ministry, The Sword, Quicksand, Thrice, Clutch, Spirit Animal, Turnstile, Wolf Alice and Baroness were also part of the lineup.
