Night Riots hops on spring tour enroute to Jack Rabbits

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—Night Riots will be joining The Mowgli’s “Kids In Love” tour and they’ll be making a tour stop at Jack Rabbits, on April 26. Hippo Campus will also be joining them on tour, this spring. The tour begins on March 25 in San Francisco and will conclude on May 7 in San Diego.
Travis Hawley is the lead vocalist and plays synth, Nick Fotinakes and Matt DePauw are the guitarists, Mikel Van Kranenburg is the bassist and Rico Rodriguez is the drummer of Night Riots.
After completing a national headlining tour—Night Riots performed at South By Southwest (SXSW) and South By So What?!, in 2015. They’ve shared the stage with The Mowgli’s before, as well as with such musical acts including: Cage The Elephant, K.Flay, Meg Myers, OK Go, Step Rocets, Walk The Moon, Wild Club and Youngblood Hawk.
On the album, “Howl”, “Contagious” can be heard. It was produced by Eric Palmquist (Bad Suns, Mars, Trash Talk, Waaves) and it was released on Jan. 20 via Sumerian Records. “Contagious” is Night Riots recent single climbed to the number one spot on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation’s Alt 18 Countdown. Currently, it is #31 on the Billboard Top 40 Alternative Song Chart. Sareth Ney is a concert journalist for the Wu-Man Chu Chronicles. It is a division of A Quarter and Dream Pictures. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Center for New Media from Colorado State University-Pueblo. After graduating—he continued his four year apprenticeship with master of horror, Clive Barker. In California, he met members of the Wu-Tang Clan. He became the journalist/superhero, Wu-Man Chu.
