Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena to host Pearl Jam

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- Pearl Jam will be jamming out on the stage at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena, on April 13. The tour will begin on April 8 at BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and will conclude on April 22, 2016 at Wrigley Field in Chicago. All of the dates are subject to change.
Jeff Ament is the bassist, Matt Cameron is the drummer, Stone Gossard is the rhythm guitarist, Mike McCready is the lead guitarist and Eddie Vedder is the lead vocalist of Pearl Jam. They are part of the Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records roster. For over 25 years, they continue to reach critical acclaim and commercial success.
On Jan. 1, 1990—the rock band, Pearl Jam, formed in Seattle. During their career, they have recorded ten studio albums and have sold over 60 million records globally. Their most recent album, “Lightning Bolt”, was released on Oct. 15, 2013. On Oct. 22, 2015, they celebrated the 25th anniversary of performing live.
Awards and accolades for Pearl Jam include: two Grammy Awards, 15 Grammy nominations, five American Music Awards, nine American Music Award nominations, four MTV Video Music Awards and one Golden Globe Nomination. Their latest album, “Lightning Bolt”, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. It also debuted at #1 on the iTunes charts, in over 50 countries.
A pre-sale drawing for current Ten Club members for all tour dates were made available, on Jan 18. Memberships purchased after the date to the club will not be eligible to take part of the drawing. The dates included in the drawing include both of the two night stints at Fenway Park in Boston and Wrigley Field in Chicago.
The exact date of which Pearl Jam will play at Bonaroo Music and Arts Fest will be announced, in the upcoming months. The tickets for the festival will be on sale, on Jan. 22. New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival tickets are available for purchase now. Ticket information for the back-to-back concerts at Fenway Park and Wrigley Field will be announced, over the next few weeks.
