JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Ralphie May will be performing six stand-up comedy sets at Comedy Zone – Jacksonville, from Aug. 31 through Sept. 3. He is an actor, stand-up comedian and writer.
On Feb. 1, 1972—May was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. His acting credits included: “For da Love of Money”, “Spy TV”, “Whoopi”, “Cubed”, “The Best and the Brightest” and “Inside Amy Schumer”.
As a writer, May assisted with the writing process of the following programs: “Just Correct”, “The Big Black Comedy Show, Vol. 2”, “1st Amendment Stand Up”, “Ralphie May: Girth of a Nation”, “Ralphie May: Prime Cut”, “Ralphie May: Austin-Tatious”, “A Video Diary from Iraq”, “Ralphie May: Too Big to Ignore”, “Imperfectly Yours”, “Ralphie May Filthy Animal Tour” and “Ralphie May: Unruly”. He was the main writer for “Ralphie May Filthy Animal Tour” and one episode of “1st Amendment Stand Up”.
May was the executive producer of: “Just Correct”, “Ralphie May: Austin-Tatious”, “A Video Diary from Iraq” and “Imperfectly Yours”. He served as an associate producer on “Mohr Sports”.
On the television special documentary, “Ralphie May: Too Big to Ignore”, May received a credit on the soundtrack. It was for his rendition of the song, “Rhythm is Gonna Get You”, written by Enrique “Kiki” Garcia and Gloria Estefan. He received a thanks at the end credits of the pilot episode of the television series, “My Life with Shaun O’Donnell”.
